Race Recap – Pocono

Not the night Team ESR was hoping for.
Both trucks fought a tight condition most of the race which made it tough to rotate through the corners. At a place like Pocono where momentum matters so much, that really put us on the back foot early. Passing was also at a premium. The bottom lane ended up being the dominant line, and once the field settled in it was extremely difficult to make moves without risking the truck. Despite the challenges, the team kept working and brought both trucks home clean.
Results • Steven Burnett – P11 • Justin Kern – P15
Not the result we were chasing, but races like this are part of the process. We’ll take what we learned tonight and turn our focus to Darlington Raceway next week. That place rewards patience and precision, and we’re looking forward to the challenge.
