Burnett started 3rd and quickly moved to the lead and established the No. 5 as one of the fastest trucks in the field. He maintained control through the opening half of the race while managing increasing pressure from challengers closing the gap as the run progressed.
A series of late cautions reshaped the race in the closing laps. While leading, Burnett was wrecked by 2nd place and that dropped him to 13th with just 10 laps remaining. Despite the setback, he worked back through traffic, regaining track position and ultimately reclaiming the lead before the checkered flag.
The win marks Burnett’s fourth straight victory in the series and continues a strong stretch of performance for Team ESR as the season advances.
